“ Our first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Loved the atmosphere, very friendly waitress for our table (wish I could remember her name). We got a pepperoni pizza and the onion rings for an appetizer and they were both delicious. The table next to us looked to have gotten a salad and a club sandwich and we were blown away by the look of both. ”
“ I wasn't feeling pizza, so I decided to get the Rocks burger, cooked medium, with cheddar, onion rings, pickles, bacon & BBQ. The burger is made with a blend of sirloin and brisket and was very good. Extra points for the toasted bun! I got it with fries, which were average, but next time, I'll try the homemade chips. You can get any sandwich or pizza made gluten-free. Our waitress, Danielle, was attentive and very friendly. The smile on her face never left! Overall, great experience. UPDATE: Someone in my office ordered lunch from Rocks today and got the Marguerite Pizza and shared with the office. The sauce tasted homemade, had a generous amount of quality mozzarella, and just enough fresh tomatoes and basil leaves. If you're looking for a crispy bottom crust, this isn't it. You can fold the pizza in half when eating it. Some in the office didn't like it because of that, and others loved it. I prefer a crispier crust, but I still enjoyed eating this pizza. It tasted great! ”
“ There was something for everyone here and it was all delicious! Not an easy thing to say when you have toddlers and a vegetarian amongst your dining party. My husband was really impressed by the pizza’s quality. Prices and serving sizes were fair. We sat in the covered patio to enjoy the sunshine but keep warm. They had great music from the 70’s/80’s going- not too loud, either. I think we just found out new go-to place! ”
“ We had a group of 8 arrive here on a Saturday around 6 pm. We were seated quickly, and all enjoyed our experience. The food was really good, service friendly and prompt, and live jazz music made it special. We will definitely be back to try out other menu items and different musicians. The appetizers (favorites - nachos and pimento cheese), burgers, and pizza were all really tasty. The sweet potato cheesecake was phenomenal! The draft beer selection worked well for our group from lagers (favorite: Peaches) to IPA. Check them out if you get a chance! ”
“ Food was great. Wings were really good and had a good amount of chicken on them. The pizza, particularly the crust, was amazing. Katie was very attentive and a great waitress. ”
“ I've been to Rocks four times now, and ordered four different dishes: Fish tacos, grilled chicken salad, club sandwich, and blackened chicken sandwich. All were delicious; the house-made chips that accompany a number of items were especially good (I'd recommend them over the fries, which are pretty standard). Rocks has a sizable bar with rotating draft beers on a weekly basis, and there are always 3 or so IPAs to sample, along with a cider, the old standbys, and.a few other adventurous labels. The only negative comments I have are: A couple of times it took longer than expected to receive my food, and the grilled chicken salad could have been a little more substantial for a main course salad. All in all, however, it's a relaxing, friendly place to spend an hour with nice folks, cold drinks, and good food. ”
“ Shout out to the amazing staff at Rocks Wood Fired Pizza in Johnson City for tacking on a party of 30 that including the majority of a boys’ soccer team. The service was great and food was even better! Give it a shot of you’re in the area. ”
“ Had the Rueben and house chips and side house salad. It was fresh, well presented and most important of all: DELICIOUS! My companion had Rock's Cheesesteak with house chips. I sampled it and the sirloin was prepared to delectable perfection. My companion made short work of that sandwich and bragged about the house chips dipped in the blue cheese. ”
